FASTINGIn a fasting regimen a person voluntarily limits or suspends food intake to improve health conditions in the body. Fasting releases toxic wastes and impurities from the systems of the body. Many religious sects and philosophical organizations support fasting at least once a year. Improvements in digestion, heart ailments obesity, respiration, kidneys and bladder function, female disorders, allergies and various skin conditions can be noted. The blood is cleansed to improve circulation. Fasting improves the overall health status and increases energy levels. A regeneration of cells takes place in the body. A happier state of mind can be experienced. Fasting helps a body to heal itself, naturally. There are many programs for fasting such as brown rice and green vegetables, Milk fast, Juice fast, clear broth fast and even a water fast.
